Review links

The ?rms switch, project IDs, and links straight to one comment.

DocsReviewingUpdated October 2026

The review bar starts when the page address carries ?rms. That small switch is the whole review link: you can send it in an email, a chat or a project brief, and it works on every page of the site.

The switch, not a key

?rmsonly says “I would like the review bar”. It grants nothing. Whether the person opening it may see or leave comments is decided by who they are (an invitation, or the project's share link), so a review link that ends up somewhere public costs nothing.

Every form of the link

LinkWhat it does
?rmsStarts the review bar on this page.
?rms=acme-websiteStarts the bar for that project only, by its project ID. Useful when two projects share one site.
?rms_c=18Opens comment #18 directly, scrolled into view. The pin’s Copy link button makes these.
?rms_s=…The share link from the Share dialog. It carries the project’s link access, Viewer or Commenter.
?rms=0Stops reviewing. The bar’s close button does this for you.

Add the switch to any address on the site: https://acme.com/pricing?rms. If the address already has a question mark, join it with &: https://acme.com/shop?page=2&rms.

It stays in the address bar

The switch stays in the address while you review, so a reload keeps the bar. It does not split your comments: ReviewMySites ignores its own parameters when it groups comments by page, so /pricing?rms and /pricing are the same page.

Project IDs

Each project has a short ID, like acme-website, chosen when it is created from its name. You can change it in the project's Connect panel; old links keep working. The board lives at the same name: app.reviewmysites.com/p/acme-website.

Sending a client inFor a client, send the share link from the project's Share dialog. It opens the site with the bar ready and lets them comment with just a name and an email if the link is set to Commenter. See Share with clients and your team.
